Originally from Dortmund, Germany, Ilse grew up and married Fred Erdmann. Together they had a son, Detlef.
They moved to Australia in 1967 and resided in St Marys.
Ilse will be missed by her son Detlef, daughter in law Cheryl, all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
